Cracker Barrel Store Exterior If you’re family’s like mine, then you’ve got a Summer to do list! When my children get out of school at the end of the year, we all sit down and make a list of the fun things we want to do together over the summer months as a family. I don’t know how it happens, but summer seems to just fly by every year! This year is no exception either. We are halfway through August and we still have plenty of things to still cross off of our list! One thing we like to do in the summer when were are traveling is stop at Cracker Barrel! Cracker Barrel Heritage Did you know that each Cracker Barrel location is uniquely decorated with real American artifacts, memorabilia and signage, painstakingly collected by their own Americana expert, Larry Singleton and his team? It’s really neat to look at and it’s a special tribute to our nation’s rich and colorful history! Cracker Barrel Dinners Whether we’re in the car for 1 hour or 6 hours, our kiddos are always hungry! Cracker Barrel is a nice place to stop if you’re looking for a good old fashioned, comfort food type meal for breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert. Watching what you eat? No problem! Cracker Barrel offers a delicious Wholesome Fixin’s Menu with tasty meals that are all 600 calories or less! Cracker Barrel Wholesome Fixin's MealsCracker Barrel offers a wide variety of fresh, country style, homemade meals with a great kids menu that everyone loves all in a family friendly atmosphere! Cracker Barrel Desserts Since we don’t go out to eat very often, taking the whole family out for a meal is a real treat. Because we usually start out traveling early, our favorite time to visit Cracker Barrel is in the morning for Breakfast. Cracker Barrel Breakfast While the delicious food and cozy atmosphere is more than enough to keep you coming back, I can’t visit without browsing around Cracker Barrel’s Retail Store. There are so many unique items in there and I think I buy something every time we go! The store offers apparel, accessories, food items, toys, games, furniture, home decor, gifts and more!  Make sure you check out their NEW Fall Harvest Collection for the upcoming season! I happened to see a few pretty cardigans and scarves to keep me warm when the weather turns cooler. You can check out the Old Country Store’s products online too! Old Country Store Cracker Barrel After a little shopping, make sure you and your family have a seat and relax a bit on the rockers out front. It’s nice to stretch a little bit more before heading back on the road! My grandmother has two comfortable rockers on her breezeway porch that I just love to sit in every time we visit. Where did she get them? Cracker Barrel of course! Believe me, there’s something there for everyone! So if you find yourself on the road with a hungry family while you’re traveling and checking things off your summer to do list, stop at Cracker Barrel! It’s food, family & fun that everyone will enjoy…Oh, and you can relax because you don’t have to cook! 😉 Cracker Barrel Sign
