It’s no secret that my girls just love American Girl. When were on vacation in Florida last month, we had a chance to visit the new American Girl store in Orlando at the Florida Mall. This was our first trip to an American Girl store, so this was really an exciting event! We purchased Grace: Girl of the Year. She’s a very pretty doll and she loves to bake! This past weekend my girls and I got creative in the kitchen with our new Holstein Housewares Cake Bites Maker and made tasty treats inspired by Grace’s & our love of baking!
Holstein Housewares Cake Bites Maker makes perfect sized, delicious cake bites in a matter of minutes! I enjoy spending quality time in the kitchen with my girls, but sometimes baking can take a lot of time and make a lot of mess. Not with this neat little appliance! This stylish turquoise and easy-to-use treat maker saves time, money and energy in the kitchen and you don’t have to preheat your oven and get the whole house warm on a beautiful Spring day. Holstein Housewares products allow you to bake endless homemade treats for your loved ones on a whim- just because!
We prepared our favorite boxed cake mix (although you can use one of the many yummy recipes included in the Holstein Housewares Cake Bites Maker instruction manual), added it to the preheated Cake Bites Maker and set the timer for 6 minutes! And that was it! Now we were on to the decorating!
With their American Girl Dolls, my girls helped me set up a little decorating station complete with cake pop sticks, frosting, their own plates and sprinkles. Then we got to work. We prepared some of the cake bites as cake pops, and some of them just as little cakes.
My youngest really, really wanted to eat hers right away, but we had to wait until after dinner!
Of course as the smell of freshly baked cake filled the kitchen, my boys made their way downstairs to see what was going on and after dinner we shared all of our pretty cake bites with them.
This activity was so much fun and it didn’t make a big mess or take the whole day either. My girls have already requested to have another baking day in the near future. They’ve also got big plans on making fun Cake Pops for upcoming holidays too. Yum!
