Spring is finally here and I bet after the long and cold winter, you’ve been busy outdoors! There’s so much to do this time of year. I find that getting my garden ready and preparing my flower beds sometimes keeps me outside until dusk, even on a weeknight. My children don’t seem to mind though. They are really enjoying the fresh air after being cooped up inside all winter. After we all head in for the evening, everyone is hungry! What’s for dinner? Weeknight meals are ideal when they are simple and easy. These tasty Baked Italian Chicken Tenders with Alexia Smart Classics Crinkle Cut Fries make a delicious meal that can be ready for your family in less than 30 minutes!
While the kiddos are cleaning up after a long day of school and play, you can head into the kitchen and quickly get this tasty meal prepared and in the oven.
After preheating your oven, quickly dip the fresh chicken tenders in an egg wash, then dredge the chicken in an Italian seasoned bread crumb and cheese batter. Then place the breaded chicken tenders onto a baking sheet and they are ready for the oven! So easy! 🙂
Don’t forget the sides though! Our family loves these yummy Crinkle Cut Fries from Alexia. These fries are 98% fat free and only 100 calories per serving! They are made with fresh, U.S. grown Yukon select potatoes and seasoned with a hint of sea salt for a flavorful side.
