Okay. So I have a thing about breakfast. I like it to be good. Really good! I like the idea of a relaxing, not rushed meal served with fresh juice and coffee to get my day going. My mornings are generally spent getting 4 children dressed, fed and ready for school. But not on the weekends! Weekend mornings are different. At least I think they should be and these delicious Four Cheese & Tomato Omelets are the perfect way to start a well deserved weekend!
A few years ago I purchased this neat little Nordic Ware Rolled Omelet Pan. I liked this pan so much (and my family loved the omelets I made so much) that I decided to buy one for my brother and sister as a gift too. I’ve always loved omelets for breakfast, but sometimes they can get tricky. They can easily break, they can burn and sometimes after a few bad experiences of trying to make the “perfect” omelet, so does your desire to attempt it again. Well not anymore!
The Nordic Ware Rolled Omelet Pan makes beautiful and delicious french-style rolled omelets that you and your family will absolutely love. The best part about this pan is how easy it is to use too.
You simply roll your lightly beaten eggs back and forth in the pan until they are set, fill your omelette with your desired cheeses and/or vegetables and then use a spatula to roll them up tightly.
We get perfect and delicious omelets every time and my children think that these are so fancy! 🙂
There are so many different things you can add to your omelets too. These simple Four Cheese & Tomato Omelets are probably our favorite though. Mozzarella, Provolone, Romano and Asiago cheeses along with sweet pieces and juicy tomatoes fill these warm omelets for a breakfast that will start your weekend off right. We like to serve ours with toast and fresh fruit!
Consider making omelets for a family gathering! Easter and Mother’s Day are right around the corner. Treat the special people you love to a wonderful, gourmet brunch made with love right from your very own kitchen!
Ingredients
- For 1 Omelet:
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup Italian 4 Cheese Blend such as Mozzarella, Provolone, Romano and Asiago, shredded
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten with a splash of heavy cream or half & half
- 1/2 fresh and ripe tomato, chopped
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- In your Nordic Ware Omelet Pan, melt the butter and spread it evenly over medium, high heat.
- In a small bowl, beat your eggs lightly, add the splash of cream or half & half, season with a little salt and pepper and pour into the pan.
- After a few seconds, start gently rolling the egg back and forth to evenly create the omelet.
- When the omelet looks almost set, add the cheeses and tomato, then roll up tightly with the spatula.
- Let the omelet sit in the pan rolled for a minute, then transfer it to a serving plate.
- Serve your fresh omelet with fresh fruit and toast.
- Enjoy!

Hi. I see where it should be (under the picture) but it’s just not loading. 🙁 My loss I guess. But I could always try making this in a ‘regular’ pan. 🙂 Also I just started following you on Pinterest, can’t wait to try some of your other stuff as well. Have a wonderful day!

I would probably just go with ham and cheese. This pan is certainly unique. The end result looks like something you would have to buy pre-made.
