Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I hope you all are able to spend some time with family, friends and loved ones today. If you will be traveling, I wish you safe travels. I know this time of year the weather can be tricky and cause may unexpected issues and delays. This year we are having a smaller family get together at my house. After the really busy, snowy weather we had last week I have been looking forward to today so my family and I can just relax and enjoy one another’s company, comforting food and maybe a movie or 2. Our stuffed turkey is in the oven and I’m getting ready to sit down with my kiddos to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! I love watching the parade and it’s sort of a family tradition. I remember watching it on Thanksgiving morning when I was a child. We would watch all of the fun while our house was filled with all of those wonderful Thanksgiving smells coming from the kitchen. When we do the same thing at our house 30 years later, it really brings back some great memories. How are you spending the day?
I thought I would take a few moments today and share with you what I am thankful for this year. First and foremost, I am thankful for my wonderful family. We have been ridiculously busy the last few years with my husband’s business, Cozy Country Living, and adding an addition onto our new country home. We have all been frustrated with one another at times, but in the end we have always talked things through and made our bond as a family even stronger. I am thankful for my amazing husband who does everything for our family and for my sweet children who mean the absolute world to me. I am thankful for every singe day I get to spend with them.
I am also thankful for all of you. Thank you for following me along and “joining” me in my kitchen and home. Cozy Country Living wouldn’t be the same without all of you. I’m so thankful to have a job I love doing everyday and to be able to learn and be inspired by you all too.
Don’t let today, or any day for that matter, go by without sharing how thankful you are for the most important people in your life. Happy Thanksgiving!
