I usually don’t buy prepackaged meals or sides when I am at the grocery store. I have always thought it was very important to feed my family as much fresh and unprocessed foods as possible, and many of those prepackaged items are packed with preservatives and chemicals. When I was approached a few months ago to review some products for a company named Tasty Bite™, I did a little research into the company first, and I was pleasantly surprised. Tasty Bite™ offers a unique line of prepackaged meals and sides, some even Vegan, that are all natural and contain no preservatives. Their line of products includes Indian Entrees, Asian Noodles, delicious Rice Blends and Meal Inspirations. I loved that these foods were full of interesting flavors and were healthy for my family too. I was very excited when I received a variety of tasty entrees and sides to try at home.
Dinner can be hard to put together during the busy work week. Everyone has after school homework or activities to attend to and sometimes a full home cooked meal just isn’t going to happen. This Honey Orange Chicken with Ginger Lentil Rice is short on prep time but packed with flavor. I love that I can prepare this chicken and bake it in the oven while I am going over homework with my children, and dinner is kind of taking care of itself. The Tasty Bite™ Ginger Lentil Rice can be heated in the microwave and then topped with the warm chicken, and served with a quick side salad or fresh vegetable for a simple, comforting, week night meal. The Tasty Bite™ Ginger Lentil Rice is full of fresh ginger flavor and a little spice which blends perfectly with the moist Honey Orange Chicken. The lentils and red peppers were excellent additions to the rice and were plentiful in every bite. I would even eat this rice as a quick lunch or dinner on the go. This rice was so good, very satisfying and everyone in my family just loved this meal. It was so much fun to try some different flavors and spices in my kitchen!
Like many of you, I also have a busy household during the day. As a mother, you sometimes think of yourself last. When I am short on time, I sometimes grab a piece of fruit or a yogurt for a quick lunch. Fruit and yogurt are excellent snacks, but might not always be enough for lunch. Last week I was very busy getting my oldest 3 children prepared to go back to school. With back to school shopping and little time for lunch, I remembered that I had a few more Tasty Bite™ meals in my cupboard. Yay! The Pad Thai Noodles, which are a blend of freshly cooked noodles, vegetables and crunchy peanuts in a spiced sauce was a wonderful, flavor packed lunch that kept me full until dinner time. The pouch itself serves 2, but I was hungry! This meal tasted fresh and was ready in 1 minute. I definitely will not hesitate in the future to stock up on some Tasty Bite™ meals, so I have a quick, well balanced, healthy meal at my fingertips. If you would like to learn more about Tasty Bite™ or order some of their Indian Entrees, Asian Noodles, Rice Blends, or Meal Inspirations, you can do so here.

This sounds fabulous! I love to combine any type of citrus with honey. I’ve never tried the Tasty Bite line but it sounds like a healthy and fast dinner option 🙂
