I was gifted a 100 Good Deeds Bracelet to review and share with my readers. However, all thoughts and opinions expressed herein are my own.
2015 is right around the corner and I’ve been spending a little time making some New Year’s Resolutions. This year I am doing something a little different. I am setting a goal of doing 1 good deed a day for someone and I will wear my handcrafted #1GD bracelet as a daily reminder to do so. These good deeds mean that we have gone out of our way to help, encourage or lift someone up. Each time you do a good deed, you move the ring on the bracelet closer to the button. Imagine all of the good that could come to this world if everyone just did 1 good deed for another person everyday. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?!
These inspirational bracelets are designed by author, artist and AIDS advocate, Mary Fisher. The 100 Good Deeds bracelet is both a fashion statement and a cause. These Bracelets are made by vulnerable women who’ve been trained for this work in Uganda, India, Indonesia, Zambia, South Africa,Rwanda, IniInand Haiti. This project gives these women a way to support their families through their earnings, while empowering them to also contribute to good deeds around the world. This non-profit organization provides economic and educational opportunities to women and girls across Africa and elsewhere. All proceeds from the 1GD bracelets are also reinvested into this program.
It’s not too late to make this one of your New Year’s Resolutions! You can get your very own bracelet HERE and start making a difference in someone else’s life and your own. Most New Year’s Resolutions focus primarily on ourselves. This year, just add one more resolution to your list for someone else. Your Good Deeds just might inspire others to take on the challenge as well! Happy New Year!
