Hi guys! Are you ready for Spring? I sure am! I was away in Florida last week for the #FBFOrl Conference (you can check some pics out on Instagram) and even though the weather started off rainy there, those 70 and 80 degree temperatures sure were nice! My husband and I spent our very last day in Florida just relaxing by the pool in the sun before we headed home to Buffalo to be greeted with 30 degrees and a yucky rain/snow mix. Oh, well. We are headed back to Florida at the end of the month for our family vacation and I can’t wait. I asked my stylist this month to include some pretty things for me t bring along on my vacation.
If you aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix, you can check out my past “fixes”, HERE and HERE. Stitch Fix is a personal styling service that ships hand picked items to your doorstep. When you head over to stitchfix.com and sign up for a “fix”, you fill out your style profile and choose a day you would like to receive your fix. When you schedule your fix ( I schedule one per month, but you can do more or less), you are charged a $20 styling fee. When your Stitch Fix arrives, you have 3 days to try everything on and decide what items you would like to keep and which items you would like to send back in the enclosed prepaid envelope. You don’t have to lose your $20 styling fee either! You can apply that towards any purchase! If you love and purchase your whole “Fix” you get 25% too!
So Here’s My March 2015 Stitch Fix
Just Black Aaron Distressed Skinny Jean $78
Last month I received a pair of jeans in my Fix. They were soft, comfortable and I liked how they looked. There was a distress mark on the one leg that bothered me, so I decided to send them back. I wish I hadn’t! I kept thinking about how comfortable those jeans were, so this month I requested to have those jeans in my fix again. While my stylist couldn’t find the exact pair this month, she included a pair from the same brand.
I actually like the wash color better on these jeans, but I wasn’t too sure about the hole. I usually don’t purchase clothing that has holes on purpose, but again, these were comfy and could be worn casually with a lot of different things. I think I learned my lesson…if the jeans fit and you are thinking about them wishing you had them, you should have bought them!
The Verdict: Kept
Collective Concepts Lydia Floral Print Key-Hole Blouse $68
I was really excited to try on this blouse. I loved the colors and there are so many ways it can be worn, dressed up or down. It does need to be dry cleaned, which may be a downfall, but I thought it was really pretty and would be nice under a light cardigan too.
The Verdict: Kept
Renee C Genevieve Abstract Dot Print Blouse $38
I wasn’t sure about this print when I pulled it out of the box, but as soon as I put it on I knew I loved it. I came with a white stretchy and comfortable cami to put underneath and I thought it looked nice with jeans. I will probably wear this casually, but it can be dressed up too, which is nice.
The Verdict: Kept
Street Level Eve Stitch Front Reversible Tote $68
Last month I requested a purse or tote because mine has seen better days. I didn’t love the one in my last fix, so I sent it back. My stylist decided to try again with a different bag this month, and I’m so glad she did.
This tote was not only a pretty color that will be perfect for Spring and Summer, but it’s roomy, has a magnetic closure and includes a smaller zipped bag inside as well. As a mother of 4, no matter where I go, I am sure to be carrying other people’s belongings along with me! Can you relate?
The Verdict: Kept
Papermoon Jerrard Heathered Open Front Cardigan $54
I love a pretty, comfy & cozy sweater! I actually am wearing sweaters all of the time, even when I am in a warmer climate, if I get a chill. I loved this sweater even before I put it on.
The colors were neutral, and it was soooo soft! I love pieces that can be worn with different things easily, and this was just perfect!
The Verdict: Kept
I was really pleased with my Fix this month and I think all of these pieces can be worn on my vacation this month and for everyday too. I have requested the same stylist (Kayla) the past 3 months because well- I think she does a wonderful job. I am not a very good shopper, and would have never picked these items out for myself. I’m so glad she picked them for me! 🙂
My merchandise total for this Fix was $306 before any discounts. I was on the fence about the jeans, but if I returned just the jeans my total would be $228 -$20 styling fee, which brings the total to $208, which is only $6.50 less than if I keep all 5 items and get the discount. I decided to keep everything (Buy 5 – 25% discount) for a total of $214.50.
Have you signed up for Stitch Fix yet? If not, now’s the perfect time to try. Spring is right around the corner, why not start it off feeling great in something new?! You can also purchase a gift card for someone special to try with Easter and Mother’s Day right around the corner!
Thank you to those of you who have signed up using my referral link. I receive Stitch Fix credit when friends like you schedule their “fixes”!

Thanks for sharing. Mine is on its way and I think I’m getting The same tote as you. I always look at my checkout receipt before it’s even gotten here and try to Google what it is I got.

Loved reading about your fix. This gave me the push to try my own fix. And you are absolutely adorable in everything! Love how the abstract dot top works so well with your coloring!

I love these posts! Though I rarely order clothes for myself, it’s nice to see what a good stylist can put together. That dot print blouse looks wonderful on you! I can see why you kept all the pieces.

Thank you so much Julia! It’s so funny, because I would not have picked these things out for myself if i saw them at a store, but I love them. I guess that’s the whole point though, right?! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! 🙂

I signed up for Stitch Fix this past week and was excited and nervous. I have several friends that get their “fix” on, but they have very different body types than I do. Once I found your blog the nervous feeling went away and I am now excited. I have 2 kids and my body is definitely not what I want it to be, but I’m learning to try and accept it. Thank you for putting your experience out their. I look forward to seeing your posts.

Thanks Melissa! I was nervous at first too. I had wanted to try this for a while, but found myself waiting to because my body wasn’t what I wanted it to be, but then I thought, why not just try it. What did I have to lose? If it didn’t fit, I would just send it back! These “fixes” have taught me that I am who I am and that’s okay. But as a wife and a mother, it’s important to take care of and treat yourself once in a while. I hope you get some great pieces this month & love your “Fix”! 🙂
