Boy it sure is nice to get into a routine again! Not that we didn’t have somewhat of a schedule throughout the summer, but back to school time is different. This year all 4 of my children are in school and things are off to a great start. Everyone has their own responsibilities getting ready in the morning and when they come home after school. I too have some added responsibilities. This year, just like previous school years, our family is Saving BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION™ for a Brighter Future!
Collecting Box Tops is an easy way to help support your school. Box Tops is one of America’s largest school earnings loyalty programs with over 80,000 K-8 schools participating! Isn’t that great?! When you are out grocery shopping every week, you can choose and purchase select items that carry the Box Top labels. When you get home or when you are finished using the product, simply clip the Box Top and send it in to your child’s school! Each Box Top turned into your school is worth 10 cents. That may not seem like a lot, but they can add up quickly!
Because our lives are really busy, collecting Box Tops for our school helps me make a difference. I feel bad when I can’t dedicate a lot of time to a specific fundraiser or help volunteer as much as I would like to at the school. I love that I can help in a way that’s really convenient and helps give back to our school. The money raised through this program helps your school purchase whatever they need like supplies, books and even equipment that will help make my child’s future brighter! Since their launch in 1996, Box Tops for Education has contributed over $525 million to participating schools!
You have to purchase food and basic necessities at the grocery store anyways, so why not purchase items that can serve another purpose as well?
If you’ve never collected Box Tops before, the beginning of the school year is a great time to start! You can find several Bonus Box Tops items at Walmart on select General Mills® products this Fall to give you a great head start. I took my daughter shopping with me last week to see what we could find.
We love Cheerios for a quick breakfast, so we were happy to find the BONUS Box Tops on them. The BONUS 5 Box Tops on participating items were also on their favorite crunchy snacks too! I’m sure if you look around just a bit, you’ll even find some BONUS Box Tops on items you already purchase for your household.
If you feel like you want to make a difference in the lives of your children for the future, get started today! Check the boxes you have in your pantry, in your refrigerator and in your freezer for Box Tops and share what you’re doing with your extended family members. I bet you’ll be surprised at how willing they will be to clip some of their Box Tops and send them your way too!
Challenge Your Family this week! See how many Box Tops you can send in for your school!
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of General Mills®. The opinions and text are all mine.
