I am always looking for different things to create with my children’s photos. These silhouettes are so easy to make and they are just so precious. If you have older children, you can still make one of these with an old photograph or you can use a current photo. These can be for any age. This silhouette is of my 2 year old daughter. I took a picture of her head from the side. It was a bit tricky because she is always on the move! I then enlarged the photo to the size I needed on my computer and printed it out in black and white, so I didn’t waste ink. I taped the picture on top of a black piece of paper and cut around her head and shoulders. I used a piece of scrapbook paper and cut it to the size frame I was using. I glued the black silhouette to the scrapbook paper and placed it in a frame to display. So simple, but such a wonderful craft to capture your child’s sweet little face.
