If you haven’t tried it already, adding spinach to your smoothies boosts the vitamins and minerals you are getting and it’s a great way to sneak more veggies in your children’s diet. I think it is hard to start off with mostly spinach, so my approach is to add more spinach gradually as you get use to it. This smoothie has blueberries, spinach, strawberries, organic vanilla yogurt, pineapple and banana. I don’t think you can really taste the spinach in this smoothie which is why I call it a starter. You can add to it, but it gets you use to the idea of adding greens to your smoothie and the slightly different texture. This smoothly lasted about 5 minutes at my house:) So if you are looking for a different healthy snack for your family give this a try. What kind of smoothies are a hit with your family?
