It’s finally here! The last week of the Stock Your Freezer Fridays Series here at Cozy Country Living! I’ve had a lot of fun doing this Series again this year, but I am happy to have it now completed and checked off of my list for now. I can begin thinking about Holiday gifts, decor and just enjoying the season. I have a freezer just full of great meals and I hope you had a chance to work on some or all of this series with me as well. If you are just finding your way here, don’t worry…you can catch up on all of the weeks in this series by starting HERE. I’ve saved some of my absolute favorite meals for this last week and I hope you and your family enjoy them as much as we do here at the Hawk House! 🙂
Besides having a freezer full of great meals, I always like to keep my freezer stocked with a few additional items around the Holidays to avoid a trip to the store (which will be very busy I’m sure) at night.
The next time you are at the grocery store, grab these freezer friendly items:
- Butter for last minute cookie baking
- Frozen Steamable Vegetables for a quick, last minute, healthy side
- Cheese you can serve with crackers and wine for a quick appetizer or snack
- Bread for sandwiches and toast
With all of the other food items that are on our shopping lists this time of year, it’s easy to forget some of our everyday basics. Be prepared and enjoy the most wonderful time of year!
