Okay, so I am a little behind the times. I just recently heard about Yummly, so I wanted to share it with you! Better late than never, right?! Some of you may have noticed that a few months ago I added a little “Yum” Button beside my recipe photos. That orange “Yum” button will save the recipe to your very own recipe box on Yummly!
I didn’t know much about Yummly until I headed over to the site and found some of my recipes in other member’s recipe boxes. I thought it was great! I read the about section on Yummly and found out that “Yummly was launched in 2010 by foodies on a mission to invent the ultimate kitchen tool. Whether it’s finding a recipe or going to the store, Yummly wants to make it easier for foodies to do what they love – cook, eat, and share!”
Yummly is the Ultimate Cooking Tool! It’s easy to find a great recipe by searching holiday, cuisine, taste, diet, nutrition, allergy, cook time, technique, and ingredients (or even excluding ingredients)! After selecting your taste preferences, you’ll easily be able to find recipes just for you!
That alone will save you time in the kitchen!
Yummly is also available as an app for your phone. Search for last minute dinner ideas with ingredients you have on hand or open your Yummly app at the grocery store to see which items you will need (convenient shopping lists available too) for the recipes you saved in your box!
Cozy Country Living’s Yummly Page will soon feature all of my recipes. I am adding more and more everyday… I hope you find this new and awesome tool as valuable as I do along with some delicious recipes that you can make for your family!
