It’s that time again. The weekend! I try to make a yummy, but simple dessert every weekend for my family’s movie night. Lately, I have been making cookie bar or brownie type desserts because they are so easy to make and the children love to help out making them. I was in the mood this week for some chocolate, so these chewy Triple Chocolate M & M Brownies really hit the spot. They are loaded with cocoa powder, special dark chocolate, semi sweet chocolate and of course M & M’s. These are amazing when they are warm right out of the oven and served with a nice big glass of ice cold milk. This is the perfect recipe for a family get together or picnic and the M & M colors can be changed for different holidays or occasions. What simple, but delicious sweet treats do you like to whip up in your kitchen on the weekends?

- Add the eggs, the egg white, and the vanilla and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined, being sure to scrape down the edges of the bowl.

- Spread the batter into a 9 x 13 baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted into the brownies comes out clean.

- Let cool for at least 20 minutes before cutting and serving.
- May be served warm or at room temperature with milk:)
